The Everest Base Camp Trek (EBC) is one of the world’s most iconic trekking adventures. This 12-day journey takes you deep into the heart of the Himalayas, offering stunning views of Mount Everest (8,848m) and other legendary peaks like Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Nuptse. Along the way, immerse yourself in Sherpa culture, visit ancient monasteries, and hike through Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 1: Fly to Lukla (2,840m) – Trek to Phakding (2,610m)
Scenic 30-minute flight from Kathmandu and a 3–4 hour trek along the Dudh Koshi River.

Day 2: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
Enter Sagarmatha National Park and ascend to the bustling Sherpa town of Namche.
6–7 hrs walk
Day 3: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Short hike to Everest View Hotel for spectacular views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. Explore local museums.
Day 4: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m)
Trek through alpine forest to Tengboche Monastery – spiritual heart of the Khumbu region.
5–6 hrs walk
Day 5: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m)
Pass Pangboche village with mountain vistas and arrive at the open valleys of Dingboche.

Day 6: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Optional hike to Nangkartsang Peak (5,100m) for panoramic Himalayan views.
Day 7: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910m)
Trek past memorials of climbers and reach the stunning glacial village of Lobuche.

Day 8: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,170m) – Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m)
The ultimate goal! Visit Everest Base Camp and return to Gorakshep for the night.

Day 9: Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) – Trek to Pheriche (4,240m)
Sunrise from Kala Patthar – best viewpoint of Everest. Trek back to Pheriche.

Day 10: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Descend through forests and Sherpa villages back to Namche.

Day 11: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Final trekking day retracing your steps to Lukla.
