After breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour of Bishkek. Optionally (for extra cost): In the evening, prepare for one of the most spectacular cultural events in the world – the Grand Opening Ceremony of the World Nomad Games 2026. Highlights include: • Hundreds of horse riders thundering across the arena • Traditional dances and songs representing nomadic peoples of Central Asia • Torch processions and storytelling scenes from the Epic of Manas • Parade of international delegations from over 40 countries Experience a unique celebration bridging ancient steppe traditions and modern cultural pride. After breakfast, travel east to the Burana Tower, an 11th-century Silk Road minaret surrounded by mysterious stone warriors (“balbals”). Continue to Son Kul Lake (3,016 m), a high-altitude alpine lake where nomadic shepherds still live in yurts and graze their herds. Enjoy breathtaking views, tranquility, and authentic Kyrgyz hospitality. Descend from Son Kul to the legendary Issyk Kul Lake, the “Pearl of Kyrgyzstan.” Arrive at Oimo Tash Yurt Camp, located on the southern shore with stunning views of the Tian Shan mountains. After breakfast, depart from Cholpon Ata and drive back to Bishkek via the scenic Boom Gorge, where the Chu River winds between dramatic cliffs. Upon arrival in Bishkek, you will be treated to a special farewell dinner featuring traditional Kyrgyz cuisine, accompanied by live folk performances.
